Siân Owen

DJ/Producer

London based DJ and producer Siân Owen has built an impressive reputation in the UK house music scene in recent years. Raised in a small town in Hertfordshire, but she was always set for big things and so moved to London to study at University. This is where her love for house music really began.

In 2019 Siân secured her own radio show on London station Flex FM where she honed her craft as a broadcaster and began creating her own mixes which she played out on her own show, as well as curating guest mixes for KISS FM, Apple Music and Ministry of Sound.

Her talent and enthusiastic personality soon got picked up, as she secured herself a residency for London hot spot Sushi Samba, where she curated a monthly lineup of female artists to play for their Casa de Samba nights. Siân went on to play on regular lineups at the legendary home of music venue, Ministry of Sound as well as ever-growing club night La Fiesta. In 2022 Siân capped off the year with a sold-out Ministry of Sound show where she played the countdown into the new year.

The past year has been huge for Siân. Being a consistent name on the lineups for Abode and Love Juice and supporting the likes of Jess Bays, Danny Howard, Sammy Porter and George Mensah, as well as shows worldwide, including Amsterdam for ADE.

This year the shows dont stop, as you’ll see her opening up for Joel Cory at Ibiza Rocks, a residency at O Beach with D4 D4NCE and UK festivals Sundown in Norwich and Bournemouth Weekender.

Whilst putting herself on the map as a female DJ in the UK, behind the scenes Siân has been spending her time in the studio producing her own music and this year gears up for her first release with Defected label D4 D4NCE. Siân’s upward trajectory continues, with plenty of exciting plans to be announced, she is on track to firmly stamp her presence on the music scene for years to come.
